Stop looking at it or I'll steal your children.

Missouri. I wait until the honey flow is over, which I gauge by monitoring their weight. The flow ended a couple weeks early this year because we've had a drought.

Great question. Supporting habitat conservation is the most important thing any of us can do for pollinators. That can be as simple as becoming a member of a local park system, volunteering to help remove invasive plants, donating to a nature preserve, etc. Then someday when you have a yard, plant natives instead of grass.

This may be a dumb idea, but it might make sense for Taiwan to send select troops to Ukraine to get experience against a numerically superior invader.

Nope. But one time I saw the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, and I had never seen it before. So it's possible. I end up driving 2 1/2 hours per day, so anything to make things more interesting.

I drive a lot of miles every year, and would never, ever go back to a gas car. And my EV cost about the same as a well equipped Camry, so it's not out of reach for many buyers.

In case anyone didn't know apps like this are available.

Here's a tip for other hobby beekeepers. Get a big white board and put each of your hives on it. Then add columns for all the things important to you, including the next time you need to take action on each hive.

This is invaluable to me. I typically keep 15-20 colonies. I track the current status of each hive, what I need to do next, how many honey supers I've got on each, and my last mite counts. I also keep a lot of detailed info in spreadsheets and a journal, but this is my go-to for prepping my weekly inspections.

If you're into true crime, you'll like the Scamanda podcast that's currently being released weekly. It's about a lady who faked cancer for years to steal money and garner attention. Very entertaining.
