How is it these huge companies fail to realize that they had a killer year due to covid putting more people online? You aren't going to match it no matter what.

If AI doesn't bring our end, it will likely bring about the closest thing to utopia we can hope for. It would be far better at leading us than our pathetic leaders.

Determinism seems far more likely. We just want to think we're special. But if we have free will, why? What gave us that ability and assuming it is our brains then what is the cutoff? Do all animals have free will? What about plants? Bacteria?

I'd be happier staying here as long as the community stays. Reddit has been going downhill for years and they keep making the experience worse for old/power users. Plus their shitty redesign will almost certainly be forced upon all users soon and I can't stand not using old.reddit.

Metal Gear Solid 5 and the new hitman games.

I rarely use the debugger with Unity because you have to switch the project to debug mode(takes 10+ seconds and runs slower)

Its not the llm that would remember the data, its openAI who could find all the apple developer chats and comb through their logs.

I was the same way until my latest playthrough. I haven't finished it yet, but it's been interesting so far.

Imagine watching the absolute shitstorm Twitter has been going through and thinking yeah I want that for my website. Sounds like there's no hope for reddit unless someone else can take control from spez. What is it about these obviously inept morons like Elon or Trump that get these followers that think they are the smartest person on earth?

My bad I misread your post and thought IDs were still involved.

We shouldn't have a system that you have to submit your ID at all.

It would be great if someone could make something that would clone a subreddit into a lemmy community automatically pulling sidebar information and other things. Some stuff would have to be manual, but it would make things a lot easier.
