You need more info and the whole truth table. There’s a few functions of f(x,y) that would yield true when both x and y inputs are true. In general though, exclusive or (XOR) is common-use English “or”. Inclusive or (OR) is what you mention, and then the inverse of OR is NOR which may be what you are talking about or the inverse of XOR or XNOR or NORX depending on the textbook.

This is all digital logic stuff, and I’m not sure if logic involves in philosophy would use the same naming.

Morrowind never gets old. I always find something new.

I remember too that google had to pivot HARD and FAST! They got blindsided by iOS and the initial iPhone. There’s a video of the original google phone OS that was a project in development and I remember people getting excited about. But then the iPhone was released, and google had to quickly pivot to a whole new paradigm for touch screen and virtual keyboards. My guess is it was an initial exploration project that they just had to lean into hard and did t have time to convert to proprietary implementations or they were just using what was readily available. It really is a wonder that androind was able to compete with iOS so quickly.

After being here a few weeks, your “home” server doesn’t matter too terribly much, as long as it stays federated with other servers. You can subscribe to communities (subreddits) in other servers and they’ll appear on your feed. It’s kinda cool. You do have to do a little more work building your communities you want to see and participating, as there no algorithm to tell you what to see. It’s with it though! Sort by Hot or Top Day and you’re good to go!

It’s French for me. Also fun that the ads asking for money are in English :)

I assume it’s because kde is globally developed, so why not use non-English?

I’m gonna vote for wefwef over voyager. It’s much more unique and googleable. Voyager is gonna turn up Star Trek and a bunch of other generic stuff. Go for something unique!!

This game is great and scary!! I went into it blind, and am loving it. There was a just jaw-dropping moment I got to witness, and just stood there for a while in silence. It runs great on the deck too

I’m really loving wefwef! Kudos to the devs!!

I think it will be a long, long slow death. Digg is still out there doing something over a decade after it’s users exited en masse. I think Reddit as a store of useful human content, will just keep slipping and having more noise than useful signals. It’ll be a while, but at the same time it’s already dead. For me it was just so shocking for them to not realize what their actual value is. Pissing off the oil you are drilling, is not going to go well in the long run!

We go back and forth. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. It seems like the busier we are, the more we actually meal plan. I'm curious too what peoples' strategies are, and what works well.

The whole Internet just keeps getting more centralized, and controlled by corporate interests. I don't even know how you can setup a functioning email server these days. Google and MS have basically funneled all email through them at some point, just by how huge they are, and basically control what happens. All the old protocols have vanished years ago for www (and keep getting re-implemented). (RIP to gopher, usenet, irc--which I guess isn't fully dead yet).

My hope is that we're just going through a phase (we being the capital I Internet) and we'll break through and get things decentralized and distributed again, and make the Internet feel more fun. It's really just felt like another way to get advertisements and sell things to me, more than a way to connect to others and form communities.

Hopefully the fediverse idea continues to grow. It's got a lot going for it, ideal-wise.
