At some point in the last year reddit hit this critical mass of toxicity that just makes the switch that much easier. To everyone saying that Lemmy is too complicated for mass adoption I say GOOD. The more barriers to that the better.

In addition to some of the music sources listed here, my personal hack is to create monthly playlists where I drop literally everything (new and old) that I like. After the month is over, I check the spotify playlist suggestions to discover even more stuff related to what I'm already enjoying.
At the end of each year I just compile all monthly playlists into one, which is a fun time capsule for music I discover. Been doing this since 2015.

People just hate Ja at this point, it's less about realistic expectations and more about a punishment fetish.
I would certainly imagine that program will be entirely performative. Ja is either a changed man already after some stern conversations with the league and Nike, or he's a lost cause. I don't think that aspect of his suspension will really move the needle on the matter.
