Eh, I'd be happy with $30 hourly. At 70 hours a week (line cook) I'd be making around $100k. I was making 87¢ an hour above minimum wage at the place I just left. I gave 100% anyway because if I didn't the experience really sucked

Did the concept of 9-5 included a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks? in c/nostupidquestions

I had a job where I was working 80 hours a week without breaks and my boss told me I was part time

The 1920s was "a long time ago" and the Andromeda galaxy is "a galaxy far, far away." Maybe the original trilogy took place 100 years ago in the next galaxy over. in c/showerthoughts

All joking aside, I'm glad you enjoy them! I've never really met anyone who does so I always have to just begrudgingly eat the grape candy myself when it comes in a bag with different flavors. I hate food waste too much to throw the damn stuff out

I get where you're coming from and I wouldn't be surprised if you're right, but I used to work with kids in after-school programs doing homework help and a handful of those kids were really surprisingly talented. I saw some really cool art from some of them, so I could see this being real.
