Second the ratchet and clank suggestion. Such a great series overall! I'm not at all ashamed to admit that I own or owned every single game in the series at some point (with the exception of the app which I didn't find out about until far too late)

I've always felt that decaf drinkers are kind of the highest form of coffee afficionado. At that point it's not about the drug (caffeine), and specialty decaf doesn't have the negative qualities mass-produced decaf does, so it's all about the enjoyment. Good on you man, have fun with it

I'm a big fan of boost, it feels the closest to what RIF was before the bs with 3rd party reddit apps

What's your favorite kitchen snack? (self.kitchenconfidential)

I've got a big third pan of pickled jalapeños and fresnoes at my station that go on our soy glazed wings. I'm snacking on those nonstop throughout the day. They're awesome

Bro, what is with you today? Between this and the toenails, you really want to hurt us don't you?

Does anyone know how I can delete a post uploaded by someone else?

Definitely a possibility. Either way, as a PA resident I'm pissed as all hell

I really think it's the stroke, it was pretty immediately after that when he went full MAGAt

Seems like a good dad. I'm a line cook so I used to smoke a lot. I've cut WAY back and am definitely enjoying shit more now. Nothing against people who smoke a lot, it was just a bit too much for me.

It's pretty pervasive in the restaurant industry. I had a chef who asked me to help him move his Hobart mixer back to his house. Damn thing weighed around 200 lbs, and hauling it into the bed of my truck was a pain in the ass. When we get it back to his house, he proceeds to light up a bong, offer me a hit (I declined, never smoke and drive) and then he decided to pay me in a ton of weed he had grown.

You're chill, that's a good way to be. I wish I could raise my own livestock, mostly for milk/eggs.

My neighbor is in her 70s. I'm in my late 20s and live in the apartment upstairs from her, so when it snows I like to help clean off her car/shovel out her parking spot. Today she tried to pay me after I helped her. I don't want to accept the money, but want her to still feel comfortable asking for help/not feel like she's taking advantage of me. How should I go about this? Maybe ask her for something small so she feels like she's helping me too? It's never any trouble helping her with the snow removal, it never takes more than half an hour

Basically what the title says, what made you choose the culinary/food service industry? Why is this what you chose to do?

This industry is brutal. I'm tearing my body apart for $16 an hour just continuously reminding myself that I'm learning a lot and this isn't forever, but man is it kicking my ass. What do you all do to unwind? Is booze/weed really all there is to help you chill out at the end of the day?
