Creators also need to make money. I doubt Peertube has ad revenue to split with them.

In fairness to YouTube, creators do keep about half the money (in exchange for YouTube hosting the content).

No ads and no user payment?

So...... who pays to keep the servers going? Who pays to produce the content?

That stuff is expensive! We're paying for it somehow.

Unfortunately, a lot of these EV companies acted more like tech companies than they did Auto companies.

Now that interest rates have gone up, a lot of the money feeding tech has vanished.

Wake up in the morning, feeling like P Diddy. I got my glasses... I out the door I'm gonna hit this city...

Can't eliminate the "I'll just do without" competition.

Like, when I got rid of Netflix... I didn't sign up for an additional new service. I just watch YouTube.

When I stopped using Facebook so much, I didn't go to another service -- I just didn't use social media as much.

The 1.5 liter in my Honda Fit is absolutely indestructible. I'm at over 300,000 miles and I've never once had to top up between oil changes.

I think it's an L-series engine.

As an owner of a 1990 Lexus LS400, may I vote for the 1UZ-FE. Not as powerful, but absolutely indestructible. It's a non-interference engine, which means the timing belt can snap and all you have to do is put on a new timing belt.

I'm starting to run into a few people here in California who say something to the effect of "Oh, I bought my Tesla before Elon went crazy."

And there are a hell of a lot of Ionic 5s on the roads now. Seeing a price cut like that sure makes the six look tempting, but I just can't get over how hideous that trunk looks.

Granted, I'm not exactly in the price demo to be buying any EV at this point (except maybe the Bolt) LOL.

It kind of bothers me to see over speculation of EV companies. We're repeating the same mistakes they did in the mid 1800s, when everybody was so stoked about the railroads that they crashed the economy.
