Although I will add that even a maximum rebate paired with the best possible financing (1.49% over 60mo) is still north of $600 a month.

I'm starting to run into a few people here in California who say something to the effect of "Oh, I bought my Tesla before Elon went crazy."

And there are a hell of a lot of Ionic 5s on the roads now. Seeing a price cut like that sure makes the six look tempting, but I just can't get over how hideous that trunk looks.

Granted, I'm not exactly in the price demo to be buying any EV at this point (except maybe the Bolt) LOL.

The Model 3 is still cheaper if you include the $7500 tax credit. Competition will get interesting in the next 2 years as more carmakers get their US battery factories set up and eligible for the rebates again.

I wish Hyundai would make a smaller Ioniq 5 that's the size of a Civic Hatchback, but obviously the public "needs" their crossovers.
