I'm not terribly hopeful. I'm an older millennial. As I've gotten older, I've watched my friends grow up, get jobs, have kids, move to the suburbs, etc. They got a little bit of what's theirs (obviously not enough, but still) and they want to protect it. They vote to protect their investment in their house and to keep their school district good. They're nowhere near fascist like the current crop of republican politicians, but they're scared and that leads them to voting more small c conservatively. You and I both know that republican policies are trash and that the values espoused in theory by the democratic party are better for them. But they finally made it. They're prizing stability or better, because change is scary.

Will the super racist republican party base die out? Maybe. Probably. But they're just going to be replaced by center right democrats. Sure, that's better, but not so much better that it'll fix all the problems we have. Maybe the gen-Zers can do something about it, but I'm afraid their political power will be dwarfed by the sheer size of the Millennial generation.

When our party was three or four players, the GM said he'd run a session as long as there were two or three, respectively. We went to a fifth and as long as there's three players, the DM runs the session. I've since gone ahead and implemented the same rule with the group I GM. I think it's better for everyone. People who want to play still get to play, the people who can't make it don't feel bad because their absence cancels the game/don't feel obligated to play if they don't want to.

How many of them are just a recipe from a label of 1950s cream of mushroom soup?

Did he do/say something that should have trashed his reputation? I used to read Ctrl+alt+del like 15 years ago (I recent found my signed copies of the first two hardcover collections) but I haven't followed in forever.

Look. Am I going to vote for whoever the democratic nominee is? Yeah.

Am I going to be saying the democratic party is generally also racist, transobobic, capitalist, and don't really give a shit about you? Also yes.

The republican party being more racist, transobobic, and capitalist doesn't mean the democratic party isn't. And I'm sick of people pretending otherwise.

Seems like it's a little late for that.

I legit actually like country music. Country music and punk rock. Both of them are just three chords and the truth

And man, when this song started, dude came in hot. I loved it. And then he went flying right off the rails.

I'm not advocating violence, I'm just saying politicians have gotten a lot more brazen with their corruption and hypocrisy since we stopped using guillotines.

I've left a dozen or so jobs over my entire life. One because the job was eliminated, five or six because school was starting/ending, one because the manager was a prick, and the rest exclusively because I was offered more money.

Reminds me of my last cat, Wednesday. She also only had one eye and her paperwork from the SPCA said "her jaw is misaligned, possibly from being hit by a car."

She was the sweetest girl ever. I miss her.
