I run plex from Docker on a local linux server. I have sonarr configured but its not configured perfectly so it's downloading but not importing right now. Thats a separate issue I need to figure out.

For now, I have a large library that I would like to organize and rename. It all works, its in plex and shows up and such, but it's not consistent. I have some files that have spaces in them and others with dots (preferred). I have season folders like 01 and 1, etc.

I could set up a local share and connect filebot to that I imagine, but am hoping there's maybe a more modern solution that also doesn't require a desktop app.

When did Leela become an alcoholic. They've really been pushing that. Have we even seen bender drink?

Im really hoping, waiting, for a good dense long-term storage medium. It doesn't have to be fast, but large, cheap, and durable. I want a way to backup my plex library, or even, daily backups of documents and project files, and I don't want to think about them ever again.

Thanks! I'm kind of hoping to bring more awareness to not only this game but preservation in general. I'm holding an anxiety that we have limited time to potentially save this stuff 😅

But what exactly were all these people waiting for?... Did they really need Taylor to tell them this? I mean the answer is obviously yes but why?

It's wildly underpaid and the developers are highly highly skilled devs. They work in game dev because they want to, but the money isn't there. Most game developers are working at tiny studios hoping for a break.

"let's ask them"

There's just no way you could reasonably expect retail employees to verify games. There will need to be an automated system that is more difficult to bypass than it's worth, and that will likely be more expensive than it's worth.

We are getting to a point where there are fakes out there that are 100% identical to the real thing, and aren't all that cheap. It's an interesting situation.
