The only time I ever enjoyed cooking with gas was when I was doing it professionally. They always seemed sketchy to me in a home kitchen where you don't have a ventilation system than can fully cycle the air in less than a minute. My only complaint with my current glass-top electric is it's only got 1 big burner.

Something that stood out to me in the post is the part about "even if they're eating something delicious..." The reason why we stop when we're full is that food stops being delicious when we're full. I'm not sitting around with half a pizza in my gut thinking about how delicious another slice would be, I'm thinking about what a chore it would be to choke down another slice.

This is exactly it, I'm not depressed because I eat shitty processed food, I eat that shit because it's the only thing I have the energy to deal with.

Because they have no interest in governing, they want to rule. They want a rigid hierarchy with a strong white man at the top who rules by decree. They want to be able to do whatever they want while dictating how everyone else lives their life. Religion is the primary driver of this type of thinking, thus the reason it's a cancer to modern society.
