That's what happens when people are desperate and he was desperate.

Two things can be correct. The Holocaust is "politically instrumentalized" against AfD but there is a reason for that.
But also, there is a reason parties like that are onn the rise and in part it's because the rest of the parties don't address some issues.
This implies that economic systems can't be good or bad in themselves.
That's right, it's how we use it, well, to be honest I believe there are only two economic systems and human greed won't allow the second one to succeed so, right now, there is only one and it's as good as our leaders make it to be (which is pretty terrible, certainly worse than when my parents had my age)
And yes, even an absolute monarchy with a fair and just king could be good.
And I say this while I understand the current capitalism model is broken, the whole economy is based on lies, I hate banks and I a firm believer of the Christian concept of "money lending with interests is a sin"
I agree, politics aren't a line where some are in the right, some in the left and the center is some kind of mythological beast (if they are we are screwed, but they aren't)
Politics are complicated, politicians are simple. Capitalism isn't an ideology it's an economic system, it's as good or as bad as the mechanisms put in place to govern/control/rule it. It's supposed to be free but it can't be because no one can't trust corporations, it's also not supposed to be controlled by the State but when they inject money in it that's what they are doing.
Capitalism can work in any kind of environment, and fail too.
Personally I believe democracy is failing, technofeudalism is coming in hard for it. In my country we replaced nobility with politicians and they are the caste, the president is the King, if you defy the party stand you are kicked out, they claim to be socialdemocrats but all the social aspects are worse than 5, 10, and 20 years ago and although keynesian economics plays a part on the reason I believe it's democracy's fault.
I think the idea is that he was a Jew but welcomed gentiles into the faith so technically all Christians are Jews in the eyes of Jesus.
Jesus didn't came here to create Christianity, he was the fulfillment of a Jewish prophecy, Christianity exists because some Jews didn't believe he was the Messiah.
You quote the third commandment but you believe they are outdated?
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them.
Even letters are images...
Besides what everyone else said it used to be a fish, and the ChiRo (the one that looks like an X and a P) Symbol. It's easy to see the evolution into the cross.
If (or when) we achieve the technological singularity (we aren't even close, current AI is just marketing, that's why we coined the term ASI, super intelligence) they will be able to lay down a plan to fix anything without making mistakes, they will predict the consequences of actions in detail, ours or theirs (some thing are more difficult like a volcano exploding).
Handling is not necessary they could be able to just take it, the only way to stop them would be to cut electricity I guess.
But the thing is not the current marketing term for AI, we don't have AI. A Real AI doesn't start saying: "I only have information up to October 2023' because they will be able to improve themselves (that's the singularity, they will be improving themselves faster than we did, eventually we wouldn't understand them).
Think of this as you ask questions to chatgpt or deepseek and they answer, how to do program this or that. An IA could give you the software, better than you could have done it with those questions, and eventually render the software useless, the IA can do that, while doing another million things.
And space colonization, if it ever exists won't be done by humans but by machines, we may reap the benefit.
In the words of dr manhattan: "The world smartest men poses no more threat to me (ASI) than does it's smartest termite"
We don't have AI. The LLM are not there yet. The technological singularity will be a reflection of humanity as childs are reflection of parents but they will be their own eventually.
Unpopular opinion: I believe the only way to save humanity is through AI. Humans aren't going to fix things.
Reason n1 why I never use Swiss services.
I never had a twitter account, not because of political beliefs but because the core of that social network is bullshit and the internet should be better than that.
