I ain't going to lie, this chapter felt way too short. Really liked seeing Miyako's backstory but damn, this makes Ichigo's departure early on all the more sad.
Knowing her background, you can really tell Miyako actually cares about making a positive environment for people to succeed in the entertainment industry given she saw first hand how it can use people and toss them aside. Got high hopes that she'll continue to support Ruby and Aqua. Hope Ichigo feels the same way.
Wow that looks really good! If you don't mind me asking, how much did that meal cost?
I feel like it's not dominated by the same sort of content, but a lot of smaller communities and niche interests (at least the ones I'm interested in) have yet to develop on lemmy.
I think cooking could be a good way to help describe the culture and socioeconomic conditions of an Isekai world. (I.e. if a famine occurred in a kingdom, the various dishes in that kingdom could highlight the differences of it as compared to a neighboring country). But yeah, as an Isekai solely about cooking may not be terribly interesting
Yes, but it is now part of the Georgia Tech campus.
It's been alright so far, but going from being a constant lurker to starting to engage has been tough. Lot of the communities that I used to frequent have yet to migrate over and it is hard not having that especially for niche communities. I don't expect this to be an issue in the long run but that's the biggest factor rn.
I don't think Public Safety realizes who Nayuta really is, and it's going to be interesting to see how that unfolds.
Finding a nice good pair of shoes is hard. New ones won't feel the same.
Delivery and pick up are still both options offered by many coffee shops in walkable cities. In the case of delivery, dense bikeable neighborhoods might actually be faster in terms of food delivery than in a car centric society.
