Would graphene OS be the answer here then? I've been looking around for my new phone lately as I'm trying to do the same. Would it be possible to de-google lineage OS manually or is it just better to pick another OS? Sorry for the questions but I don't really know where the FOSS android communities are yet so I don't know where to look for the answers.

This is not the age where unions have any effective impact
I don't know, the UAW looks like it's having plenty of impact to me. As a matter of fact, unions are looking pretty strong at the moment. But to be honest, you weren't here to argue in good faith, you made that especially clear with your last sentence.
Even the best laid plans go awry though. The point is even if they pragmatically design it to not kill indiscriminately, bugs and glitches happen. The technology isn't all the way there yet and putting the ability to kill in the machine body of something that cannot understand context is a terrible idea. It's not that the military wants to indiscriminately kill everything, it's that they can't possibly plan for problems in the code they haven't encountered yet.
That's the issue being discussed here. The tests will also show up if you smoked the week before on your day off. They don't determine whether you were high on the clock or high on the weekends only. It penalizes people who smoke weed in their free time, as opposed to people who are actively causing a problem. Additionally, booze, meth, and heroin for example, are all out of your system much faster, so it doesn't really do a good job of determining whether or not they'll be blitzed on the job either, which is what the comment you replied to said. The point being made is that the drug test isn't actually going to prevent anyone from being drunk on the job, but it will prevent you from hiring the guy who tried weed once in his free time.
I have Generalized anxiety disorder, It's chronic and therapy doesn't "cure" it. I will most likely struggle with it for the rest of my life. While this may be an anecdotal example I'm not aware of anything that "cures" anxiety disorders, therapy is mostly there to manage the symptoms effectively. Therapy helped me understand and somewhat mitigate the problem, but it's not something I can ever be rid of, and that's how it is for a lot of people who have an anxiety disorder.
Idk why this was downvoted, this is pretty obvious sarcasm.
I always thought sci-fi uniforms were really cool, could you imagine congress in like, mass effect alliance uniforms? that would be cool as fuck.
of course, that might also be because I find business attire to be boring as fuck. So maybe most things look cool in comparison.
The jaws look would be so cool but imagine if you accidentally bit your cheek while chewing gum or something.
Honestly? Not the worst way to go out.
What's the name of the novel? I kinda want to read that now because that sounds interesting.
They forgot that 72 inch TVs were a luxury when advertising and streaming companies paid to subsidize them, so we could purchase them at consumer level all for the low price of our privacy, AND our world! It's not out of public reach if we just make it affordable for them the worst way possible!
Congratulations on the small victory!
