Not the OP but I use a bag from Rhinowalk (I got mine from amazon for 85 Canadian dollars) that transforms from a pannier to a backpack and I love it! It's not the best backpack in the sense that only the top opens so it's harder to organize but I love it overall.

That's amazing! I just passed 1100km on my e-bike and I love it! Have you had to replace the battery after that many kilometers?
I can't remember who said it but "If you plant roads, you'll grow traffic." This problem has been a failing of policy starting a long time ago.
Genuine question: Why do we want gapless folding phones? If something gets in between the screens (like sand or something) and then you put your phone in a pocket isn't that going scratch a lot easier? I'm hoping to get a folding phone for my next device so I'm curious.
I bought an unknown brand on amazon for 250 maple syrup dollars and I'm pretty sure everything it says on the box is true. It's 1080p native and 450 lumens. I use it to watch movies outside. I have to wait until sunset but otherwise I'm really happy with the picture quality. This is the one I got. I think if you got anything less it would probably be okay for your needs, but you might regret not getting something better the first time.
Related: When I was in Myrtle Beach in may, I had the pleasure of having Gatorade's new energy drink: Fast Twitch. It was delicious and I hope we get an 180mg caffeine version in Canada. Give me all the caffeine!!!
I feel awful for the woman hit and I believe that scooters shouldn't be on the sidewalk. But it sounds like the CNIB still just wants them banned. 4 people are hit by a car every day in Toronto. It feels like complaining about mosquitoes while a bear is mauling you. Yes it sucks, but we should focus on getting cars off the road through transit and personal means of transportation like bikes and scooters with bike lanes.
