Hi :)

  1. I got my original blue 3ds back on launch day, then replaced it with a new 3ds once the animal crossing hhd bundle came across NA. I waited for a while for the normal size one to be available, I prefer it over the xl.
  2. Monster hunter generations or 4, mh4 was the reason i got a new 3ds. I also recently used hshop to get a translation patch for monster hunter XX, aka generations ultimate which never released on 3ds in english. I think it's more comfortable to play on the 3ds, compared to the switch.
  3. Fantasy life is very relaxing and cute, easy recommendation.

If you want an old classic, I've been playing rollercoaster tycoon 2 recently and there is an open source engine for it (openrct2) that has native linux compatibility. The controls take some getting used to, But I think that artstyle looks totally amazing.

Kenshi. Kenshi is the single most unique game I have ever played I think. There is no campaign, you are just sent into one of the largest maps ive heard of in a video game with the goal of "survive". So many ways to play, I've had so many different adventures in that game, with stories that I crafted that have stuck with me for years. I am still heartbroken I lost my saves from 2019 :(

Second choice is prototype. I dunno why but I just adore the shapeshifting combat, and edgy early 2000s aesthetic. Alex Mercer is one of my all time favorite supervillian/hero characters, he's just cool, man.

I preorded the game being a huge fallout fan and played the beta before launch... then I didnt touch the game for around 2 years. When I did go back however, it was right before the big wastelanders update which introduced an entirely new campaign and human npcs to the game. I ended up getting hooked once that update dropped, and I have maybe 6-700ish hours in the game now.

It really hurts me how bethesda handled this game, because there is some real solid stuff here. I think this is the best map bethesda has ever put out (ignoring the lack of cities), it is beyond gorgeous, massive, and has real diverse biomes as well. The wastelanders campaign has some fun and interesting characters, and the story is fun enough, they also dropped the 4-choice dialogue menu from fallout 4 in favor of something more 3/vegas esque. I have had some super fun and great multiplayer interactions too, the community is very nice and it is extremely common for high lvl players to just give you stuff as you're starting out. You do really have to enjoy the looting n shooting more than the quests to get a lot of playtime out of this game though, as a lot of it post campaign completion is just grinding.

If they had released 76 with wastelanders from the get-go, with all those embarrassing bugs gone maybe the games reputation wouldnt be so bad. I dunno. But, if you already own it, and have been avoiding it, maybe give it another shot now. It's no Vegas, but it is infinitely better than that terrible beta was.

Kenshi's soundtrack has such an amazing, surreal sound. Such a vibe, love it.

I'd like a mobile gaming sub, something for psp, 3ds fans etc

I have over 1300 hours in fallout 4, and 3 & vegas combined are probably in a similar realm. So I really want to like Skyrim, but I just don't care for it nearly as much. It gets so much praise but when I look at it it all looks so samey. The dungeons all feel identical, the combat is extremely boring, and you have the same combat music playing over and over.

Blindly swinging a sword doesn't come close to how good gunplay feels in fallout 4, dungeons in fallout each feel more unique, and the radio is such a good feature compared to not having the option. Also i simply find sci fi more interesting than medieval sorcery stuff.

Same here, I've tried to get into pokemon so many times but I just don't get it. The games just look so lazily made too
