It’s not necessarily bad logic. If a regular at a dive bar says someone drinks too much, it’s probably a sign that person drinks way too much. If a college kid tells you an all-you-can-eat buffet sucks, it’s probably not secretly delicious.
Trump (like his diaper) is always full of shit so him calling someone corrupt wouldn’t mean anything. It’s not about logic; it’s about whether the narrator is reliable or not.
Personally, I care about the whole of Subsaharan Africa more than the Middle East but I’d like to know why this is a very special situation where one side is good.
How the fuck do you feel about a war where civilian and adults are kidnapped and starved, children take headshots (or worse), there will be no victors, and every “leader” is loathed by 70% of their population but use the war to cling to power? Do you think maybe we should use international law to prosecute the war criminals and try to create peace? Or do you think we should treat it like a sport where we root for our favorite team?
I view it more as a war between right wing religious fanatics who lack popular support or legitimacy against civilians. Israeli and Iranian leaders should be tried at The Hague and there should be a peace and truth commission so the region can maybe have peace.
If you have a dog in this fight, maybe they won’t be convicted. That’s why we have trials. But it’s been a war crime extravaganza so they’ll probably be convicted.

“Lawless” in the sense that mining companies support them and are the ones laundering the products. It’s not like they’re smuggling manganese to U.S. addicts like fentanyl.
Having had them as an ISP monopoly, Comcast shouldn’t be allowed to own Comcast until they show they can do that without fucking it up.
They actually made the monopoly part I experienced illegal. I was in a city with multiple providers but Comcast was the “exclusive” provider for my apartment building because they bribed our landlord so they could charge residents more for shittier service. Everyone involved in that deal should be in Gitmo getting kicked in the dick every time they ask for a lawyer.

The judge should absolutely take his passport if he’s a flight risk. If he wins and the case gets put on hold, The Department of State can issue a diplomatic passport. (I’m not even sure if heads of state need them.)
