I also use Boost as I was using that back on Reddit. Voyager is also an excellent Lemmy app too.

I left after they closed off the API and shut down third party apps. I could never go back, whilst Lemmy hasn't always offered the same amount of content, its always still offered good content, plus I know I'm guilt free of supporting Reddit and what a shit show they've become 🙂

I thought crypto was dead in the water after the expensive monkey picture pyramid scheme? 😩

"Sorry father, you're an adult, take care of yourself."

Thats very alarming language from someone who is meant to be taking care of you as their child.

Can't someone make a new party that actually represents working class people and just get rid of Democrats? By many other countries politics, Democrats look more right than left

Not that there has been much proven to be beneficial about crypto but if the bad guys are backing it then whatever benefits it probably did have are not outweighed by all the negatives

No love for Panda's? 🥺

Knowing what a privacy nightmare all meta apps are, I'm wondering if there is an alternative option which is more privacy friendly but still has some of the ease and simplicity of some features such as messenger.

I already know there will be friends I can't convince and thats fine, I may just have to accept that. But if I could avoid using it as much, I'd really like to.

So I kind of impulsively bought a Steam Deck OLED this weekend, I hadn't really done much research and I haven't really played any games in about 15 years.

Now I have to wait for it to be delivered and, I'm worried this is something I'll use a few times and forget about it.

What's something you impulsively bought and fell in love with?
