Cyber security guy here.

Consider a large organization with a lot to lose. They usually invest proactively in a Cyber security program.

Now consider all these companies with data breaches. They were tiny startups with nothing to lose. No reason to consider an investment in cyber security best practices. Their modus operandi was quickly pushing the product to market so that the $ could start coming in.

Oh man. What a headache. I'm a seasoned Linux user but I couldn't get my Nvidia GPU working on my Linux machine.

I had to switch back to Windows to be productive

Here's a more detailed explanation:

As a human being, I tend to eat everyday.

Sure I have my diet days and take-out days.

But as a general rule of thumb if you use up the pan about 3 to 4 days of the week, then you need to change it every 6 months.

We live in English speaking Australia. My son is learning French and Arabic.

There's not many countries where you can't get away with one of those languages, to my understanding.

This was the purpose of the Australian Democrats party before they died out.

At a Melbourne media conference on 19 September 1980, in the midst of the 1980 election campaign, Chipp described his party's aim as to "keep the bastards honest"—the "bastards" being the major parties and/or politicians in general. This became a long-lived slogan for the Democrats.

I love certain music but find it terribly distracting to the point that I rarely listen.
