The thing that scares me about these laws being passed is that they serve to embolden those who want to hurt us. MAGA uses this as a hate feedback loop. They are winning. Any anti-LGBT bill that passes is a W for them and a step closer to the edge of society for us. It’s not going to stop.

About 25% of the time I will start writing a comment only to find that I don’t think my argument is compelling enough, or otherwise is not something I feel makes a good point.

He’d be a hero to his stupid base when he had to have the courage it would take to renege on the pledge, blaming it on a conspiracy against him.

This is because his supporters are amongst the dumbest, most gullible and hateful people in the nation.

They’d much rather watch a video of a doofus asking him questions that had been provided by Trump himself. They don’t have any interest in hearing anything others have to say, just their god man.

One would think it would get boring hearing the same, obviously fictitious, dribble from the same angry man all the time. But again, his supporters are idiots, and it’s an exercise in futility trying to understand them.

I thought I had gotten in over my head when I decided that I wanted to make kimchi. That is, until I came across Maangchi’s YouTube channel. My third batch was the best kimchi I’ve ever had!

The leftover juice is amazing. The funk is where it’s at!

I ~~am~~ was an Apollo user, and decided that Reddit killing it was too much. I switched to Lemmy, and while it has been an adjustment, I am reminded of the days of forums past. I dig it. Using Voyager (formally Wefwef) has helped preserve most of the UI of Apollo, which is nice. I had never heard of Progressive Web Apps before, and am super interested in the topic now. This makes me want to pick up programming again, in hopes of eventually being able to contribute to open source projects.
