Yeah, I knew that but I still wasn’t sure until the third mention, when I went back and started over with the correct mindset. My other comment is that this really isn’t uplifting news, it actually awful, even though these girls found each other.

Part of it is the mantra “out of my control, out of my concern.” Or “not my circus, not my monkeys.” That doesn’t mean I don’t care. It means I do what I can do, and try not to despair about what I can’t change.
Using DuckDuckGo, and scrolling behind the sign-up pop-up, I was able to read the story, and even the author admits that his statistical analysis didn’t seem to always match the internet chatter. It was mildly interesting.
As a Trekkie, I am very pleased to learn I use the “Vulcan” grip.
The Texas cities one democrat, but the rural areas go stupid. So we elect stupid. Keep trying, though.
After spending so much on a new iPhone, I went ahead and splurged on a Live-edge case from carved back in September 2021. The case is beautiful, thin, and has aged delightfully. Customer service is excellent as well. Not cheap but totally worth it.
Thank you for this, and WTF? I haven’t even heard of most of these.
I watched The Princess Bride and couldn’t understand why it gets so much love. I found it really gruesome and unfunny, and Robin Wright’s princess was bland and unlikable.
Some comments seem to miss the point of the article. Excessive hours, no breaks, long commutes, low pay (and low tips) are why some places are having trouble keeping staff. With profits soaring and exec pay ridiculously high, companies can certainly afford to pay better wages, hire more help, and offer benefits. But they don’t.
Also, don’t be an ass to the overworked, underpaid front line staff.
I have gotten so frustrated by the shittification of google search and youtube that I’ve installed duckduckgo on all my devices. So far I’ve been significantly happier. I still use google drive, sheets, docs, etc. but the search feature has become totally useless.
The TV show was fascinating! And I remember loving the music, too. Matt Frewer was just fascinating as, was it Edison Carter? And as Max. Really clever concepts!
