Why are you even worrying about elections other than the one in front of us? Droning about past elections and ones beyond the one in front of us isn’t going to win anybody over. What’s done is done and what is not in front of us is irrelevant.

It’s just what it is.

I think Trump was under polled in 2016 due to this:

  • A month later, on Oct. 28, 2016, Comey told lawmakers in a letter that the FBI had “learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation” and that investigators would “review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information.”
  • On Nov. 6, 2016, Comey told Congress in a follow-up memo that the FBI had “reviewed all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State” and that officials “have not changed our conclusions.”
  • The election took place Nov. 8, 2016.

These numbers were also before the Anthony Weiner laptop revelations that Jim Comey dumped on the American public just days before the election.

I don’t understand a dad joke that never sets itself up to be executed in real life. This is a clever play on words, as are most of the jokes here, but I only value a dad joke that I can reasonably exercise in the moment. How do I make use of this unless my kid happens to ask about minivans giving birth?

I’m not a fan of this point of view because I don’t think we fully understand the motives of either shooter. The first’s motive seems ambiguous, at best. It’s too soon to know for the second. You could technically call them Republican voters based on social media history, but I heard the second shooter became disillusioned with Trump sometime after 2016, which is why I feel like comments like this are leading us into a direction we aren’t yet ready to go. Either way, people want to pin these events on a political motive and in the end they may be no more politically motivated than some of the clearly apolitical school shootings.

I blame Trump for his own outcome though. To shit on victims of gun crime and to shit on everybody in general in such a public space, for the President of the United States of all things, is not going to end well for anybody.

Ya. Maybe go check out some of the protected lands that Trump worked so hard to protect.
