I feel like I'm going to fall into one of the Myst ages looking at that book.

Polls are when organizations teach out to a percentage of the population (phone, Internet) to ask them their voting intentions.

Exit polls are the same thing, but are done after people have voted.

Sample size/distribution is supposed to be done in a way that reflects the voting intentions of the populace as a whole (doesn't always work out that way).

Yeah, this taxidermied lion looks like a heraldric lion.

Yep. Abandoning electoral reform was a huge mistake not only for the Liberal party, but for the country as a whole.

AI is generally bad because it tends to steal content from human creators and is largely being pushed because corporations want another excuse to throw more workers on the street in favor of machines (while simultaneously raising their prices).

There are some AI uses that are good though, such as AI voice generation to help those that can't speak to communicate with the world and not sound like a robot.

Well, not all LLMs are created equal. Some are decent, some are slop, some are nightmare machines

I don't know about sulphur, but sodium is highly reactive with water

The alternative (as seen in the original image) is just plain stupid. Armor like should be saved for the bedroom... Or a slutty Halloween costume, I guess.

The source you posted states that "potato skins offer about half the nutrition of potato meat". Meaning potato flesh has about twice the nutrition of the skin. I didn't claim that the skin has no value, just that the majority of the nutrients are in the flesh.

Project Anvil - Oldhammer Revision (projectanvil.blogspot.com)

Not sure how many people here already know about this, but Project Anvil was created by one Oscar to streamline some of the 2nd edition 40k rules.

The creator abandoned the project in 2022, but there is still a lot of great information on the blog for those that want to play some "red era" 40k. There are even rules for some of the more modern units, like the Chaos Defiler and Contemptor Dreadnought.
