I keep hearing all the rabble rousing about this from a security perspective, but is there not an incognito mode to the Recall capability?

I used to live near Lake Sumter Landing and this pic brings be back.

Yeah definitely not ideal. I wish it was clean with 0 ads.

I love my News+ subscription. Lots of great things to read and no clutter.

Anyone on Lemmy play this game? Is it any good?

Looks to me like another moba copy and paste.

Agreed. As a fan, I'm sad to hear about "Intercept Games' impending demise", but they should do the right thing and pull from Steam.

Hmm that video really looks like bugs? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing here. 🤔

My go-to would be AutoHotKey on Windows. Maybe this Linux version would work? https://github.com/phil294/AHK_X11

Looks like you can get a script that replaces

; hotstrings - expand 'btw' to 'By the way' as you type
::btw::By the way
; hotkeys - press winkey-z to go to Google
#z::Run http://google.com

You might be able to use whatever character you're using instead of {Space}:

F19::{Space}

I would say Medium is partially public. A few articles I’ve tried to access in the past have been behind a paywall.

Have you played any single player board games that you would recommend?

I’m looking to get a few games to play when everyone is out of the house and I don’t want to turn on the game box.

I’ve played Bargain Basement Bathysphere and March of the Ants. Looking for more!

Fallout 76 (self.fallout)

I signed up and played 76 after the first release—you know, the one with only like 3 humans.

It was my favorite experience. Empty, beautiful, peaceful and very exciting. The ambient music is my favorite of the whole series and it really set the tone.

I liked the feeling that you and a few other people online were the only real human survivors and the bots and mutants were the only things left in the world.

That changed after people complained… I quit after some changes were made. I logged in recently and now it’s full of generic NPCs and bullet sponge enemies. Not for me anymore.

I guess I’ll never be able to go back to that feeling right after release. It really was something else.

Anybody else play the game right after it was released?

This site isn't loading for me. Is there an alternative link for this project?

Is there currently a site that has statuses of fediverse or Lemmy instances like in the screenshot?

Would be nice to know definitively if something is offline.
