Falling backwards into a large pile of "packing" snow.
For any of our more tropical friends, snow comes in many forms. The most coveted is the packing snow. It sticks to itself and is perfect for making snowballs and snowmen, and it crunches wonderfully when you step in it.
When you fall into it, it catches you somewhere between the air and the ground and creates a perfect mold around your body. It feels like you are floating in a chair custom sculpted for your body. (Assuming you're wearing warm waterproof coverings. It's not so relaxing when you're cold and wet.)
Add to that the natural silence of the winter, close your eyes, and the world just disappears.
