Weight loss is not a single factor. No one will ever know what the actual causes for your weight loss are. It's best to understand that anyone including you is just speculating.

No OP but thanks for the tip!

They took a principled stance it's no surprise they wouldn't break it without good reason.

And they did redirect people to Lemmy as best they could. I'm actually shocked reddit let them send those DMs with the Lemmy community in it.

Oh sorry I guess you own it then right? Poor baby lost his community so sad. You literally only think as far as "I don't like it so it's bad". Besides the fact the post shows they were still giving people access to the community the whole fucking time you ass-clown.

I know for a fact you read the first part of this and said "I know exactly what this is about" and show down to the comment section to post a bunch of bullshit.

So why do you think you are owed reddit communities again?

Yeah unfortunately the time and place it happened can change the legalities tremendously, but in general right now it appears that at least the type mentioned in the OP is in fact a donation from the customer directly to the charity. The business who is acting as a middleman will not have the donation affect their books, and the customer can keep these receipts so they can claim the donation on their own taxes.

Even if you don't itemize your deductions, you can still claim up to 300$ in donations.
Edit: Apparently this was a temporary thing with the CARES act for 2020 and 2021 and is no longer active.

Only issue I have is with the last part. Everyone should leave open the possibility there is something they could find out that would change their mind. Your argument boils down to "I probably know everything already, so I'm never changing my mind".
