I'm homeless and unemployed by the end of the day and have to flee the state. Both my landlord and general manager are hardcore MAGAts, and I live in a small, remote town in a very red state. It would genuinely not be safe for my politics to be known.

At this point I just let my imagination run wild and look for worst case scenarios, then trim off only the most outlandish.
The first step is going to be encouraging and enabling "VIP Protection." Restrictions on things like where you can carry a gun will be relaxed for people acting as security for "People at elevated risk," which will mean "The rich."
Next there will be new laws that increase the severity of punishments for actions against the rich. It'll be similar to hate crime rules, escalating the punishments beyond just what was done.
There may also be changes in "Self Defense" cases loosening the requirements to justify lethal force if the one defending themselves is "Economically Maligned," so basically if you're rich you can kill someone in self defense just because they looked at you while poor. VIP protection details will be legally permitted to subdue and detain anyone they suspect of "ill will toward" their wealthy client, including everyone poor in and around whatever location the VIP wants to visit.
Finally Republicans will finally "compromise" on gun control by allowing new fees and taxes that are solely intended to move guns out of reach of the poor.
It will all be in the name of "fighting class warfare" and "protecting job creators from the radical left."
Time over here kissing the ring and hoping they don't get caught up in the purges.
The people who are outraged about this have been outraged for such a long time that our rage has just become a part of the background noise.
Unless lawmakers get their heads out of their asses and do something useful, the only change that will come from this "wake-up call" is that companies will try to obfuscate their executive roster and those executives will travel with a security detail paid for by denying more insurance claims.
Does it really count as a "hit list" if it's just a list of publicly known healthcare executives? This isn't so much a case of a list of targets as it is just a list of people in an industry that literally everyone hates, and they're suddenly aware that they are mortal.
Not everything is for you.
Does your Aunt get paid rent from the people living in those houses? Is that rent more than it costs to own and maintain the properties? Yeah, thought so. Yes, your aunt is a parasite. She is extracting profit from other people simply by virtue of being the one to own the property that she doesn't live in. She isn't providing value, she's restricting access.
She may be a lovely lady the rest of the time, I'm sure she lives a vibrant and full life elsewhere, but that doesn't change what she's doing. Nobody owns "a couple of houses as an investment" if they're not making money off of them, and they're only making money by extracting it from the people who have to rent.
I hate how useful this is.
What he learned is that he has to outlaw testing for the disease from the start if he doesn't want any reports showing how many people are dying from it.
This is one of those cases just begging for Jury Nullification.
Was anyone saying that the bag company was tracking the guy? It sounds to me like this is just a quiet way to confirm that it was their bag in case all the comments about this being the new hot fashion play out.
