Such actions undermine the principles of free speech and the spirit of community that Reddit strives to uphold. Moreover, moderators should be able to handle disagreements and debates constructively rather than resorting to censorship. If moderators are unable to engage in healthy debate themselves, it raises questions about their suitability for the role.
