I've just bought a custom PC.

Impossible to make the darn network card to work on that Windows.

I installed Void from the Network...

I "lol" 'ed big time on that one.

My little widget to get the weather, Blazing Fast Uber Duper made in Rust, has like 85 total dependencies from like 3 crates that I need...

My own software is a hard pass for myself...

That's great!

Another thing that is great, since we are talking about disk space: people, check your Rust repositiry, it might be huge.

I deleted that folder and, in my case, freed 12gb. Not too shabby.

Debian, always stable...

I have something similar, but with an old nvidia 1070.

I run a file server, nginx for my web dev, git server, postgres and, surprisingly, ollama.

The old nv 1070 is CUDA capable and it's doing an OK job for my usage.

Check if you can put your hand on an old NV card for an AI agent.

Cheers!

That company is probably owned by This guy.

Lynx

It's the best by far. The configuration can be tricky, but it worth it.

Exact!

I went from a 3050 to a 7900xt.

I don't play many games, but I had enough of the nv bs.

I endured this for way too long.

Let's be honest; they are all going out drinking together while planning on their leagues so they don't overlap.

No... the d4 team is not invited...

I am reading those comments and I feel good with $90 bucks in my pocket.

I could get almost 3 good games with that. What a time to be a gamer with all those indies.

Let's go Songs of Syx, X4 foundations to support the devs, and a little bit of Caves of Qud with that?

You still have some change remaining to buy a snack.

I play OpenRA.

Late in the evening, I sometimes get a training session with a "pro".

We know who they are. No ranking, no skins, just the registered name. It's enough to inflict terror...

Good stuff.

I am on niri right now, so I guess it isn't gnome specific.
