Mass deleting comments is something that just makes us feel better. Reddit still profited off the post with people clicking on it. They just see a deleted message instead of an answer.
Lemmy went B*itish 🤮
How do I even delete comments? I had a extension called “nuke reddit history” but its not on my browser anymore and can’t find it on the chrome store.
I would delete my stuff sometimes just so I don’t get doxxed.
Im on world and found it
The only thing that I was worried about with the alternatives was the websites being spammed with alt right content. Reddit users are not as unhinged as YouTube comments, Facebook, twitter etc. Im glad there’s no alt right content on lemmy. So I’m pretty happy here.
Also I don’t want to have a free speech debate. If you want to post edgy shit go to twitter. For me personally its not something I like. Im not really interested in having a debate. Just personal preference
Me cuz I suck with computers and couldn’t figure out how to make an account. It kept failing and one wanted me to write an essay on why I should be considered. Im a casual reddit users I didn’t want to write an essay. Finally signed up with lemmy.world and I know its slow cuz a lot of people are on it but at least it worked lol.
I couldn’t get use to Narwal and the official app wasn’t it. The ads weren’t as bad as the subreddits it kept recommending. It was too cluttered. Also I wasn’t aware how many things were Apollo only. Gif scrubbing seems like such a common sense thing.
I keep getting “cant load sever data” with this app. Is this just a lemmy thing or an app thing.
They need to find a way to make this easier to understand. I almost didn’t sign up because it was so confusing. I use to go on reddit for one subreddit and they are not even considering lemmy to host a second community. There’s a different alternative they think has potential. Its a pretty big sub too.
I could never get use to the desktop layout.
I think as long as the original post is up it would hit enough key words but I could be wrong. Deleting the actual post is more effective than the comments.
