I've been waiting for this. Finally noticed the update today. Was going fine until I got a draw on the last fight in the first tournament thing and soft locked the game as it will not progress past the end result screen.
I think BG3 already has the highest rating available, so I don't think it'd be affected.
It can go one higher (AO). They wouldn't want it to tho.
I am playing the Steam version right now and I noticed that I have just 1 perpetually pissed off dwarf. Upon closer inspection, it's a child. Who is a sadist, always pissed off and stays away from the other children to get drunk all the time all because when he was, like, 3 years old he was almost mauled to death by a giant squirrel.
I didn't mean to imply it's not also concerning tech. I think it would fit in both spheres. Just commenting on the whole "stop making trans people political" notion, like the issue isn't and hasn't been political the entire time.
They're trying to make laws to hurt trans people, and it's a hot issue among the populace... That is the very definition of political.
When you're all done with your little pink panty meltdown, let me know... 'cause I'd like to get down to business.
Fully agree. Lots of jokes; they're not very funny, tho. IDK... Maybe it will get more interesting the further I get. I still wanna check out Neon (the cyberpunk city) and do deep space exploration (can't even get out there yet). I've been to a museum ran by the Starship Troopers faction that gives a ton of exposition on the lore and it was a chore to stay awake through all that.
With how many call backs, jokes and references I've seen in the main plot: it doesn't take itself too seriously. Half of the jokes have been directly related to the lack of dialogue options and having a silent protagonist.
I can get the sentiment about the combat being uninspired and a bit bland, and things being formulaic but... There is still something that draws me in. I really have no words for what it is, but somehow these games suck me in despite their problems and "boring" mechanics.
Why? Without a connection to stream to it shouldn't be doing shit. Note, I am talking about the VD Streamer app that runs on the PC, not the actual VR application itself. If the PC is running and the headset isn't even turned on, the streamer is using a ton of system resources when it shouldn't be doing anything.
