Certainly makes sense.

I have absolutely no problem with people using guns in a target shooting type of way.

Or in other responsible types of ways, like properly managed hunting or where there are things like moose and polar and grizzly bears. Guns are tools.

I don't like guns, but I understand. Gun nuts are the problem, as are guns as tools that are only designed to kill humans. I can even understand why people would want to shoot an assault rifle or other weapon of war.

It just needs to be controlled.

The worst part is that I would really like to spend an afternoon blowing shit up. Go to someplace fun. Learn about the process. Then push the pluger.

The problem is that that's actually well controlled. Enough so that I can't really find a good way to experience it outside of a construction project in my past.

Not necessarily licking (I mean, if you do it enough...), but this is a thing

Cool story with interesting social, cultural, and scientific interactions.

It may have been discredited outside of simple iron deficiency since I last read about it, but dietary studies on humans are notoriously difficult to do.

I've lived in my area in zone 7b since 2002 (old scale). That's single digits ~ half of years.

It hasn't gotten that cold since I've moved here.

If anyone of a sufficient age denies climate change, I think they're delusional.

This is not something that can only be determined through sensitive statistics. It's affecting our day to day lives.

My eyes. The goggles do nothing.

Anyway. Show it here.

I'll take a look.

So, I can't imagine a workplace where you would share a x-ray/ultrasound/CT/mr/PET, where you'd invite people to see it, and the people who showed up could get you in trouble with HR.

Just ask.

There's nothing prurient about it unless you have weird motives.

It's like showing Netter. One of the classic human anatomy books.

If you do anyone remotely scientific, there should be no problem.

Just be aware, the camera may add ten pounds. The CT scanner seems to add a lot more.

Soups/stews exist on a spectrum. Most of reality is that way.

For soups: On one end it's plain water. On the other end it's a boiled potato or hamburger.

Tell me about it. There were so many more opportunities, but I figured I was being a gentlemen. I was just obtuse.

My wife and I hooked up a bit freshmen year in college and then drifted. She later pursued me. Her explanations about how oblivious I was that she wanted to come over and sleep with me are mind boggling in retrospect.
