Sound like a big upgrade, congrats on your recovery!

Can't find a way to view this on Jerboa :( I can only fullscreen the first image and the rest are very small and I can't click. Hopefully they fix this soon 🤞

What does liking dogs have to do with eating meat lol

Also not an expert but we weren't just hunters, we were hunter gatherers. One group hunted animals while the other group would pick wild berries, fruit, wild vegetables or whatever other edible plants they could find. Not to mention what the other person said about animals with a balanced diet having much healthier meat than the factory farmed animals of today.

Well the host of that instance would still have the data but most of the time I'm sure they'd just delete it to save space so posts and accounts would be gone forever

Man I wanted to join but it looks like Lemmygrad was defederated by Midwest.social, guess I need to make a new account somewhere else

Being federated is basically your instance agreeing to show posts and users of another instance. I would be really surprised if dormi.zone was defederated since it seems like a pretty normal instance, lemmygrad would make more sense but it's so popular I don't think many instances have defederated them either. It's probably just a bug, Lemmy has plenty and I've only ever used it on the Jerboa android app, never in browser. Stick with it, maybe some improvements will be made.

I've played 1000s of hours and never had it happen to me or anyone else I know. Needless to say it's extraordinarily rare, I would love to see someone do the math and see what the chances actually are.

The updates have definitely gotten less substantial, but to me Minecraft has always thrived as a platform for mods and other fun ways to play. The base game imo is more geared towards hooking a young audience and giving a fun, creative, if shallow, experience that's easy to pick up and get to grips with. If you want more in depth stuff there's plenty of complicated mods, and if you're clinically insane there's always Gregtech. Yes Microsoft has pretty much only done aesthetic upgrades and I really miss y:12 strip mining but I've also accepted I'm no longer the target demographic of Minecraft's and that's okay.

Is there a way to disable reporting on your server or is it always on?

I don't remember, the info is out there but it's been over a year since I read it. I do know it was made by a Japanese student for a competition many years ago but that's all I remember. I don't intend on getting the text tattooed just the dog.

195 was a subreddit based off the mods dorm in college, the main gimmick is that if you visit you have to post something before you leave. The original sub shut down and 196 replaced it and became a very popular meme sub which then transitioned to Lemmy.
