I’m very happy for making it this far. Besides just the fact I enjoy sharing my screenshots with other people and reading the discussions people have around the games I play, I feel like it’s helped establish a pattern I’ve been using in my day to day life to stay dedicated to other tasks

I wouldn't mind a ODST remake. I really enjoyed the first one

Something about the stones bothers me, idk what though

I'm ashamed to say it took me until a few months ago to get to it. I finally got around too it though after my full yearly play through of Alan Wake 1 earlier this year

let's make a whole new strain for it too. we can call it the Spanish Flu or something

Alan Wake 1. It's one of the few games i can play over and over again and not get bored. Sometimes i'll just pop in and play a chapter when i want something to do. I keep it and it's sister game, Alan Wake's American Nightmare on system at all times just so i can play it

That's what i was thinking when i took them. Its impressive, especially considering this is all running on my Steam Deck

I took a class that covered it a while ago. From what i understood of that unit, it can be pretty difficult. Even after shaders for the water and things to handle vertex displacement maps and tessellation, if they want the Water to do more then they have to code that on too (Think Red Dead 2's Water reacting to being shot or just basic Splash Physics or foam). It was really fascinating to learn about even though i don't remember much of the Unit

Naughty Dog has a pretty good track record with pretty and polished games. The only bad one that springs to mind is the PC port of the Last of Us Part 1, and even then i believe Iron galaxy handled that port (which is surprising it came out buggy because they also handled Uncharted 4's PC port and afaik it came out fine), and from what i know now it's been fixed too

Scotland is one of my favorite sections of the game with how pretty it is. Plus the ruins the game has you climb around in

I liked 4 a lot. It felt like an appropriate end to Drake's story, especially with the more grounded story with supernatural elements out and the new mechanics added. I loved The epilogue on my first play through too. I had to stop and go "woah, is this really a video game?" with the lighting

Damn, i thought this was one of my screenshots for a second and you were pointing out the specific screenshot. The resemblance is uncanny

It's L.A. Noire (again). I thought 100% would be easy business, just grab the cars i'm missing, wrap up the street crimes. I'd be finished by noon today and could finally figure out what New Vegas's issue was or go back to Skyrim or Fallen Order. Nope, i completely forgot about the Star System. Anyways, here's a screenshot of my 5 star run through Nicholson Electroplating, for the second time.

Today's game is L.A. Noire (also probably the last screenshot i'll take of it unless 100% takes longer then expected). I was up way later than i thought i would be completing it (Nicholson Electroplating didn't help), but i can proudly say i completed the story.

spoilerI took this screenshot in the tunnels in the final mission. I loved the last few chapters. It feels like it shook things up by making you the one fleeing and wanted by the law.

After having to shelve Fallout New Vegas for a bit because it was bugging out with vats, and picking up L.A. Noire again to scratch that same itch. I remembered why it was so addicting.

spoilerhere's a screenshot i took while doing the last case in the Homicide desk. This was i believe the second clue where i had to climb the chandelier

Today's game is LA Noire. Playing Fallout New Vegas put me in a mood for that era, but i was having issues getting NV to run, so i launched LA Noire instead and played that since i had shelved it for a bit after one of the cases.

The game is Jedi Fallen Order.

spoilerI'm on a bit of a binge lately and finally got to Kashyyyk after doing the Zeffo homeworld.

the game is Jedi fallen order. I initially got way farther than this, but my game decided it didn't want to save and then by the first time i got here, i realized "oh shit, i missed a stim canister,". back tracked to go get that, and then hiked the entire way back here so i could finally appreciate the sights. (also, image is a fancy uncompressed PNG this time instead of a JPEG because i finally signed into Lemmy.world on my PC, so it looks even cleaner).

Still working my way through Old World Blues in Fallout: New Vegas. I passed by Higgs Village in my way to pick up some things for the quest

The game is Red Dead Online. I took this while playing with some friends earlier today. I thought the sunset was gorgeous.

The game in the Screenshot is (modded) Skyrim. I went to Solitude and joined the Empire. On my way out I stopped by the Docks and checked things out. I snapped a picture of the warehouse doors on my way out I

The game is Jedi Fallen Order. I got this while backtracking to get a Stim Canister I had missed

Game is Fallout New Vegas’s Old World Blues DLC. I snapped a picture of the dome from this angle. I thought it looked really impressive from this angle

The game is Halo 2 Anniversary Edition on the MCC. I saw this ash, or whatever it is. And thought it was really pretty and took a picture
