This is delightful. Genuinely laughed out loud

I'm fully remote with the exception of a monthly departmental meeting. Remote working worked really well for the majority of teams, so we just never went back into the office. I'm in the Finance department and most days don't need to interact with colleagues to get my work done. I don't think I could go back to being in the office full time now. I enjoy the peace and space I have at home. Sensory issues are much easier to manage. Also, my dog is here and sometimes she just needs scritches and a snack, so obviously I need to be here to ensure her needs are met!

Oh, I love this so much! You've done a great job. Also, thank you for sharing the pattern. Once I've had enough of sock knitting I want to make this!

Knitting has been a special interest for years. I tend to find a specific thing, and make lots of them, before moving on to the next thing. The last one was hats. All different kinds, different types of knitting, and fancy patterns after I started learning fair isle. Now, it's socks. I'd never knit a sock before until the one I finished yesterday, but there will soon be so very many socks. I don't even like wearing knitted socks because I hate the texture under my feet. Strange thing for me to fixate on!

I spent a lot of time turning our garden into a pollinator paradise. Seeing hundreds of bees buzzing around the flowers gives me so much joy. I really love bees.

Sadly, we have no rain here. The lawn remains parched.

I will be trying to find the motivation to thoroughly clean the house. Since it's still hotter than Mount Doom in here, it'll likely be a feeble attempt, then continuing with what is probably close to my 50th Skyrim playthrough.
