Yeah. I can get some touch up paint, but the shell is painted plastic (the deep scratches) so it’s beyond my DIY skills to go that route and do a good job. An OEM replacement panel is like 400-500$. Since it’s a 35K bike I’m just gonna replace it this winter for peace of mind. It will only take 30 minutes to remove and replace thankfully. I already have a parts order in for a new brake lever so I can ride a little more before cold weather sets in.

I would have thought that was obvious. Most people I know who are members of trade unions identify as conservative.

I found this. Don’t know if it’s official. https://lemmy-world.statuspage.io/

She needs to work harder on that accent.

If only there were some sort of organization already in place to do that. https://www.noaa.org

Strange how the author didn’t mention Lemmy at all. Discord it not a replacement for Reddit in that it is a collection of silos in which one does not link or promote in any way to another. Discord currently is not a 1:1 replacement in any way to Reddit where Lemmy is.

For those of us who don’t want to vote for 77 year old Trump, or a 80 year old Biden. How about an 81 year old Lieberman who tried to condemn violent video games like Mortal Kombat? Surely he’s more in touch with the times?

I Agree. I keep a plastic grocery bag full of plastic grocery bags under my sink for when the need arises. They get more than a single use in my household. I find it silly how we went from paper bags to plastic bags and now back to paper bags again. Paper (trees) were always a renewable, recycleable, and rapidly decomposable resource. For what ever reason plastic became the standard when it should have never been considered. I guess it was just cheaper at some point. Hopefully we will get back to using paper and recycled paper in place of plastic.

Things I noticed when visiting Colorado Springs that stood out to me because I had never seen them before.

Home Depot: items over 300$ locked to the shelves, and with security alarm devices attached to them. String trimmers, push mowers, leaf blowers. Large items that couldn’t easily be walked out without notice.

Parking Lots: mobile towers temporarily erected with what appeared to be surveillance cameras and blue flashing lights.

Is everything ok over there? Are you short on Police? Is there a rash of crime happening?
