People today tend to fixate on the things that are out of their control. Perhaps it’s because we have lost our coping mechanisms. Perhaps it’s because they never learned any. We live in the most technologically advanced point in time we have ever known. Few of us need to go out and till the earth to grow our own food. The majority of us don’t have to physically work as hard as previous generations. Adults and our children find their enjoyment and existential dread by watching tiny screens filled with useless entertainment. Maybe things are fine. We just make shitty choices about what to do with our time, and what we give our attention to.

I bought the apple wallet in the fine woven matrial to try it out. It’s not good. Easily scratched, scuffed and stained. Does not come out. I was able to permanently mark it by lightly running my fingernail over it. I’d recommend you stay away from it. Stick with the apple silicone case or get a 3rd party leather case if that’s your thing.

Was the Bloomington Indiana council elected to preside over international affairs? Do they presume they have any authority to negotiate with foreign nations, or to give ultimatums on behalf of the federal government? Was this a completely symbolic action that was an utter waste of time which could have been better spent working for the people who elected them?

I hope the mayor reminds them of the scope of their civic role and scolds them for wasting tax payer money.

And stop letting potentially anonymous people (trolls) speak over zoom. Who didn’t see that result coming a from a mile away. If anyone from Bloomington wants to be heard they can make their way to the city council meeting to stand up front and speak in person.

Kudos for staying cool headed. Sometimes it’s hard to do when people are grossly inconsiderate.

Used to be when resolution was 1024x768. I’d bet if it does compression and low frame rates it would be serviceable for the basic tasks. The big lead here is how compact and affordable it is. The pikvm I last heard about was above 100$.
