You'll do tower but you don't like roller coasters! I hate the drop feeling, which is my least favorite part of roller coasters. So, intense coasters and tower are both out for me. Though, I wish I could get over it and enjoy it.

I'm similar. I'll ride anything at Disney (except tower of terror and rockin'). I often have to remind myself of the little kids in line around me (though little kids also ride tower of terror and I definitely will not do that so there are limits to that reasoning!).

This is happening in other places as well. I have a friend who took up an offer to move to a blue state. The state paid them more than $5k to move, but I don’t remember how much more. They tried to convince my spouse and I and it just.. was not worth it.

Plus, I think it’s good to try to fight the good fight.

Might be a dumb question and not sure how to ask this but.. If I spin up my own instance, what happens with my posts if I decide to tear down the instance? Like, will the delete get propagated to other instances where I may have commented?

Do you have your next trip scheduled?

I think if he wanted to, he would. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wants to take a break and/or look for a more stable job. I wouldn’t expect anything soon or ever personally.

Might be known, but trying to click text links just collapses the post or comment. I’m not seeing a way in the app to click links.

Looks like Midwest.social is struggling. I’ll join this when it comes back online, thanks for creating it!
