Meme aside, I feel like this is an overall positive thing, finding a character you relate to at that level seems more likely to help people struggling in the long run, especially if it's handled tactfully and not romanticised. Even if it's a tragic or unfortunate character, it can still be something that unifies fans, gets them talking, and that can lead to seeking help or feeling better.

It depends, a lot of the time, most cleaning products have that shitty "lemon" smell that fucking sucks, where it's obviously only masking a more unpleasant smell even if the unpleasant smell is just the actual cleaning product. That usually means it's even worse when there really is a foul odor present, cause then it smells like shit and lemon.

Except they know his real name and his face, that kind of threat doesn't work when they can just tell your country to arrest you for breaking the law.

In this case it's a specific person that has repeatedly streamed games before their release dates, meaning he's obtaining the games early illegally and actively encouraging other people to do the same. He makes how-tos specifically with the intention of getting more people to pirate games before they release. He's attached his real name and face to everything so it's no surprise Nintendo probably intends to come down harder on him than that Bowser guy they reamed a while ago.

This jackass is precisely why we can't have nice things, he's justifying all of the bullshit reasons these companies are against things like emulation.

It's also better than some of the actual "content" people put out there.

I don't think they're willing to spend the appropriate amount of money to make the CGI not mediocre.

I don't think he's covering it out of shame or anything like that, it seems more that he's grabbing it to remind himself of his message, like "be strong." Plus, we don't see a panel of him having eaten a donut so it could be interpreted either way, the comic artist tends to lean towards positive messages with a cynical twist so I think that's intentional.

Don't even think about trying to escape, the chains are far too thick.

what you're against is piracy.

piracy of current gen games is what you're against. As a consumer I should have the right to purchase a game (software) and do whatever the fuck I want with it, if I want to emulate Tears of the Kingdom because it runs and looks better on my computer than on my switch I should be allowed to do so. I purchased the console and the game, they've received my business, they should no longer have a say with what I do with my stuff.

Nintendo themselves use emulators for their products, there is nothing inherently wrong with emulation.

TCG stands for Trading Card Game, it's been gambling for children since 1996.

It's mostly for an upgrade, I'm still rocking a 3700X, I'm looking to build a new rig around my 4080 that'll last me several years before I decide I want to build another one.

I don't play the latest releases all that often, mostly because my CPU struggles with them, and other than some video editing I don't really do anything all that intensive outside of gaming.
