Importing content and culture seems to be very important to many migrants but to me i enjoy the reset and culture differences of the small alternatives found in the Fediverse.

I also worry about bringing the bad parts of the big userbases to the alternatives.

Yeah, seems that a lot of people are just porting over Reddit's subs, jokes, and behavior. That's not what i was hoping for when i joined.

I wasn't looking for a Reddit clone bit it seems it's found me.

Reddit went through the same transition over time.

Lemmy was functioning fine before any of this happened.

I think the level it's at right now is solid. I expect it to drop fairly significantly for a while as people quit and possibly back to Reddit. I'm 100% okay with it getting smaller again.

So I'm curious what levels you're thinking of is all.
