Just get him to make a video where he says, “Kamala is a disgraced weirdo.” And another where he says, “I’m a proud American.” and then edit them.

The first one was really good and so was whispers of a machine. I think I liked whispers of a machine a bit better.

I’ll have to replay Kathy rain 1 before this comes out. I should get the updated version of the game. It’s pretty cheap might go on sale during the autumn sale.

I started playing the remaster of San Andreas since they updated the lighting. I am really having fun with it. It is so much more fun than I remember it being.

Vice city felt like a reskin of GTA3 but San Andreas really feels like a new game.

I do not have much else to say about this really, but I just needed to sing its praises.

I tried it once with Reddit a long time ago and they never asked me to verify I was from the EU, they just told me that the data would auto be deleted after x amount of days.

Not sure if it still applies as AI is hungry for all that data now.

Dude, I am all for people trying and stuff.

I can tell that you are just starting out in the graph game, and that is cool and all. But compare to OP yours looks terrible. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to save you from the embarrassment.

Take another look at OPs graph and pay attendtion to the different thickness in the lines and the unpredictable curves.

It is absolutely not safe to ride a bike in my city. I live in a third world country and the roads are not lit well, and the busses ride in the bike lanes as if they were not there.

In fact, the bike lane on the cities main road through the city put the turning lanes in the bike lanes, so good luck not getting hit by a car from behind.

I think a lot of games these days are keeping low powered devices like the steamdeck in mind. I think we are heading for igpu only for gamers and all the dgpu resources are going to go towards AI.

I still can't believe that so many PCs are getting cut off from software updates. Its going to be a huge security issue. There will suddenly be millions of unsecured computers being actively used. I can imagine that this will be allowed to happen.

I think Microsoft is doing this because they want to make the ultimate spy network with copilot or what ever they are calling it now. I really need to figure out how to get a single work app to work on Linux reliably. I use it for like 99% of my work, so a virtual machine is kind of useless. I honestly think I will need to wait for a native version of the app to be developed and who knows if that will happen.

I don’t live in the US, and I wonder if the used market for them are expensive here.

I’ll have to figure out what to search for.

I didn’t say there any been any great games in past 20 years.

But to answer your question, games were released without stores to purchase cosmetics or dlcc. Games were not released in a buggy state to be patched later, there was no online requirement for single player games.

I played this a lot with my best friend growing up. I have fading memories of playing this all night during sleepovers.

It’s really cool to see this.

I’d love to have o e of the ps3s that were backwards compatible.

It’s actually the only console since the nes that I never actually played.

That box brings back memories. What a great console! It was the last great generation of gaming. Once internet connected consoles became the norm, things started to go downhill in many ways.

I’m in my late 30s now and over the past 6ish months, I have been gaming a lot less or I find myself gaming but not enjoying it.

I used to always have a game I wanted to play or revisit, but it seems that nothing is really catching my interest.

I’m mostly a retro gamer so I was always happy to revisit old titles. But now I get bored of them quickly.

I loved Sonic Adventure 1 and have replayed it so many times. The levels were pretty great and the small open world was fun to go around and find the hidden power ups.

Sonic adventure 2 was painful to get through. I hated almost every level. The only ones I enjoyed were the Sonic and shadow levels, but they did not feel well designed. So many times, enemies would just drop from the sky on you without any chance to doge them.

Hunting for the emerald pieces was so boring and tedious. I hated those stages. There was one time where I restarted and luckily found them all right near the start.

The tails levels were OK, but it felt a bit clunky to control. I think that was by design, but I didn’t care for it.

I played both of these games as a kid on the Dreamcast, so it’s not like I’m nostalgic for one and not the other.

I just replaced SA1 and loved it, playing SA2 reminded me of hating it as a kid.

Do you share my opinion? If not, what do you think of this game?

I was thinking about this lately, but I always loved the look of the PS2. I I think the black and blue color scheme works really well. And I like the two levels like the top and the bottom part of it.

Second to this, I think the Dreamcast looks really great. The angles on it make the console look so compact. The orange light on the console is placed really well too.

What do you like?

I love this game. I played the Dreamcast version as a kid so many times and recently replaced the PC version.

I learned that you can unlock metal sonic after 100% completing the game, but he is just a cosmetic for sonic and thats it.

My problem with this is that once the game is 100% complete, do I want to still play just to see a different cosmetic?

Maybe if there was some variety to make the levels a bit different or if he was able to be used after getting all the B rank emblems so there is still some challenge to complete.

Hello Apple,

I am really torn between an Air and Pro. I am hoping you can look at my workload and make a recommendation. My main concern with the air is that it will throttle too much during use, but I really do not know if that is a problem.

The country I live in does not have returns, so it is a little stressful as I do not want to over spend, but I also do not want to get a computer that can't handle my workload.

I know the pro has a new processor, I can wait until the Air gets a new processor before buying it, so I am not concerned about that.

I'm considering the $1299 air or the $1500 pro. (The prices are a bit different in my country, but these are the models I am considering.)

Main Task

I will have Excel, Powerpoint, PDFs, Word, and software like Zoom all running at the same time. I may be in Zoom meetings with cameras on for up to 10 hours straight. (This is where I am concerned about throttling) I will also have a few other open programs like discord, telegram, and a web browser (probably firefox).

Secondary Task

I will be doing some video editing on it and recording with OBS the recordings would be up to an hour at the most and probably in 1080p for both the recording and editing. I will be using final cut as I used it in the past an am familiar with it. I'll do this about once a week.

Additional Irrelevant Info

This is mainly a work computer that will be used closed and connected to a monitor for most of the time working on it. I do need a laptop so I can work remotely often enough.

I will not be gaming on it or anything as I have a SteamDeck for that. I might run some AI stuff on it to play around, but if it works well enough I might run it for work. But, I can offload those tasks to the cloud so it is not a big deal to work on the Mac.

Anyway, thanks for your input. I am guessing the Air will be fine, I just don't want to get stuck with the wrong computer.

I played Cyberpunk at launch and while I had some bugs, I generally really enjoyed it and did each of the missions in the game,

I decided to replay it since it’s been updated a lot and I’ve found that I’m just bored when playing it. I think I spend about half the time just skipping dialog and the other half shooting.

The combat sections seem to pass too quickly just to have a bunch of story to wade through.

Maybe I’m just in the mood for a different kind of game.

Please check my setup. (self.selfhosted)

I have a small homelab that is not open to the internet. I am considering the following setup. Please let me know if there are any glaring issues or if I am over complicating things.

  • I want to setup a reverse proxy in the cloud that will also act as a certificate authority. (I want to limit who can access the server to a small group of people.)

  • I will setup a vpn from a raspberry pi in my home to the reverse proxy in the cloud.

  • The traffic will pass from the raspberry pi vpn to my homelab.

I am not sure if I need the raspberry pi. I like the cloud as the reverse proxy as I do not have a static IP. I would just get a cheap vps from hetzner or something like that.
