Yes, password expiry is generally considered bad practice and should only be triggered on demand if there's suspicion of a security breach, precisely because it's much more likely to lead to simple, less secure passwords. And when users change it, they will probably just add a number or something anyway, so it's not going to stop a determined attacker from finding the new pw regardless.

Which doesn't stop a ton of organizations from requiring it anyway.

This situation somewhat does. Yes there's also been Orban being a fuck about EU help, but armament wise the US has been the primary supplier, and if US aid wasn't running out, Ukraine wouldn't be facing these issues, regardless of whether the EU or even other actors also could've prevented this.

I once sent a family on the wrong train but then it turned out that train went the same place they wanted to get to anyway (and I know their ticket was valid for either). I'd have felt so bad otherwise, they were so panicked already.

No one here other than yourself actually ridiculed anyone.

I wish my (very new) apartment complex had already had to follow this... massive underground garage with like 140 car parking spaces and there's a pitiful 2 small bike parking things that fit maybe 25 each. For I believe it was 131 apartments.

Needless to say there are a lot of bicycles standing disorganized on the car parking space next to the insufficient bike parking, lol

And, great shock, dozens of car parking spaces seem to be vacant, because people living in a building that is literally 15s by foot from a bus station, where you can also cycle 3km to get to the city center, do not average more than 1 car per apartment.

The link has a graph for monthly active users that says 1.7 million. Not sure why the pie chart shows something different though.

Except you might not be able to eat that much more if your body tells you you're full. There are a lot of factors to body weight, with studies suggesting a large genetic factor (40-70%. While theoretically you can (almost) always eat more/less and it'll affect your weight accordingly, the difficulty of actually doing that will vary heavily by individual.

Cruise ships aren't all that much worse than long haul flights (specifics gonna depend on the ship and the plane but my first google results ended up with a 14 day cruise being roughly equivalent to four transatlantic flights) purely in terms of co2, just bc there are so many people on board. Though flights also need to cut emissions by a lot really, so that's still not great. And cruise ships tend to use fuel that releases other harmful chemicals beyond just greenhouse gases.

Still, to particularly focus on them rather than just one of many things that need to be reduced and also made more efficient feels a bit misplaced to me. Though I'd imagine that if sail container ships actually prove viable, sail cruise ships might follow.

Though sadly ime that is what teachers usually completely fail to convey. And then we wonder why so many people hate math.

Calling her shy is an understatement honestly, she clearly has social anxiety disorder and much of the anime focuses around comedy derived from that. And it somehow manages to be funny without feeling like it trivializes her issues, it's one of the most accurate portrayals of social anxiety in media that I can think of.

Honestly their impression seems super biased based on their perception of one streamer they liked. Vtubers - just like other streamers/content creators - range from "primarily doing porn" to "guy that has been streaming for 10 years decides to get a cute anime girl vtuber avatar for fun".

There's a tendency for roleplaying a character, but it's not a necessity and definitely not always sexualized and plenty of vtubers are just regular streamers with an anime avatar.

There's of course some weird simp culture in many audiences, but that's no different from other female streamers either. From what streamers have said it's hard to prevent unless you stop anything close to it from happening, and few people want to do that when it also just factually brings in a significant amount of revenue.

Most also don't mind or even like people drawing porn of their avatars, but that's more due to humans being horny by default rather than particularly exploiting that for money.

I mean yea wbc wouldn't fly here but that's besides the point of whether that particular sign would be allowed? If the fucking afd is still allowed I have a hard time believing that sign would be a major issue. We have relatively strong anti hatespeech laws but they still have some requirements.
