If within the past 2 years is recent, I rewatched DB, DBZ, DBS, and all the movies. I'm properly watching DB:GT for the first time now.
I don't think I've seen anybody mention GeGeGe no Kitarō yet, the anime/manga that single handedly revived interest in Japanese folklore and mythology.
I'm so happy that it's Science Saru that's animating this. I've been a big fan of Masaaki Yuasa ever since Lu Over the Wall. It's crazy how much quality he's put out since 2017.

Daima is the last thing Toriyama touched, so I was going to watch no matter what. I'm just happy so much effort has been put into the animation and vibe.
The answer is because we (US specifically) keep funding them. Right now we fund the bombs, once that's done, we are gonna fund the development too.
