Ah, I only checked via Voyager app since I'm mostly browsing Lemmy via mobile. But then I'll find this later tonight in browser, thanks 😊

Do you have a source in terms of the ISPs altering websites? Would love to mention that in my thesis.

I like that it all looks well together, has a nice seemingly good feel to it!

njal.la is without a doubt one of the better ones if privacy is number one priority.

I second this, got the same setup and works wonders!

Can confirm, started playing Dark Arisen for the first time yesterday myself and I am also shocked at so r of the things that were implemented in this game. Took me by surprise. I struggled a lot to get my ps5 controller working with it, as you need mods to make it visually be correct. The start is a little rough as mentioned, but just gotten past that now and it keeps getting better!

I don't think people who voted read the description, well done dude! πŸ™Œ (Title: Homemde Classic Chicken Nuggets, would have been better)

Hiya, I've got a desktop (connected to wifi), and a server (without a networking card), and I do not have access to Ethernet/or the router. However, I do have a networking switch - and was wondering if I could bridge the WiFi from my desktop(Nobara), to the Switch, and have my other devices such as Raspberry Pi and my main server connect to that. If thats possible please let me know how, or point me to some resources, I believe I have to touch iptables in this case, but have never tweaked those before.

This is a very temporary solution for not having access to a router. But gotta live like this for 5 months, so gotta find a solution to get WiFi on my server, as cheap as possible.

Hiya folks, I am looking for a wifi extender that can serve as a temporary Ethernet solution for my server.

In short; My housing situation is temporary and while I do have access to WiFi, I do not have access to the router. So I thought I'd buy a WiFi extender that my server can connect to, until I move again (need to stay here 5Β months). I thought about trying to bridge my connection from my Desktop PC to the Server, but realised that means I need both of them on at all times. So I'd rather buy an extender which I might be able to use long term.

I have been looking at Ubiquiti equipment, but seem a little expensive for me right now. However, this brand does look tempting to invest into in the future (feel free to suggest other brands, if you recommend any others!). But yeah; for now I think a WiFi Extender could do the job, one that has an Ethernet port ofc.

Edit; I could also invest in a cheap network card for the server ofc, might that be a better solution?

Any suggestions are much appreciated 🌻

So this just dropped! Allowing console players to enjoy the true beauty of the stalker games. Much live to GSC for doing this πŸ’™πŸ’›

Not sure if that title is accurate, this field is not my strong point. Basically I'm about to move homes. And in my new (temporary) home I wont have access to ethernet, plus my server doesn't have a network card. I was therefore wondering if it was possible to bridge a connection between my laptop to my server with an ethernet cable. This would obviously be a short term solution, but I'm wondering if it's possible and if so, how? Or is it better to buy a cheap network card?

My laptop is running NixOS and my server Unraid, if it should be to any help.

Thought I'd share this quicky with fellow enthusiasts. A shirt video about your everyday cuppa joe β˜•

Had never seen this game announced, but it came out yesterday it seems! Seems like a very appealing setting imo, might check it out soon.

Here's the GOG Link, https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_thaumaturge. Remember that buying from GOG means no DRM,Β can play offline and helps preserve games! πŸ’œ

Found this one online while browsing for what cats shouldn't eat. However I feel like this area is quite controversial and opinionated. Also feels like half the websites are written by AI and riddled with ads. So if anyone has a good source as to what cats should avoid then let me know.

Anyways, I found this nice illustration, but wanted to hear with you peeps whether you have any experience regarding these food items.

Also what's your take on milk/sour milk for cats? My previous cat loved it so much, and she aged until she was 17 years old, and never seemed to have a problem with it. Also asked the vet at the time and she said it was OK. However every other website I visit tell to never give milk(dairy) to cats. So which is it? Does it just depend on the cat?

Just came across this game, and seems like a very good game for people who are into Terraria and or Factioro, as this seems to be a mix of the two. Quite the smart idea if you ask me. The planned Release Date is 27 Mar, 2024, however there is a Demo available on Steam already. I've never played Factorio so dont judge me to harshly if there isnt too much to compare :P

AutoForge is a 2D automation sandbox adventure. Build an automated factory reaching up to the sky and deep underground, uncover a vast world filled with wonder and danger, upgrade yourself with ancient technologies, and defend it all from enemy attack.

Don't forget to add to wishlist to show support for indie games, Steam Link ❀️

There are quite a few choices of brands when it comes to purchasing harddisks or ssd, but which one do you find the most reliable one? Personally had great experiences with SeaGate, but heard ChrisTitus had the opposite experience with them.

So curious to what manufacturers people here swear to and why? Which ones do you have the worst experience with?

Hiya folks,

Was watching some videos today, and I am using Newpipe on mobile, Freetube on PC and SmartTube on TV. However, I have been curios about two things.

  1. Does the viewership count when using these services to the videos?
  2. Does the "subscribe" count increase when using these services? Or is it just purely local, the subscriptions i mean.

Personally, so far I've only added SmartTube, but curios of anyone has any additional sideloaded apps to recommend?

Hiya, I'm looking to keep track of my different services in hosting via Unraid. Right now I'm hosting roughly 12 different services, but would be nice to have the logs of all my services in one place, preferably with a nice GUI. Are there any such services that could easily connect to the different docker containers I have running?

Appreciate any suggestions πŸ™Œ
