I mean, Satisfactory is a hell of a drug.

Roller Coaster Tycoon, 2 preferably. Like, if OpenRCT2 could magically time travel back and exist on 12 year old me's computer, it would be bliss.
It looks like there is a camouflaged cat snuggling next to the real cat in the picture.
Yes, you can play on a LAN connection, offline assuming you both have your own PCs in the house. There is no split screen multilayer, yet. In fact, this is supposed to be the reason why only the PC version had it's release date moved up. They didn't see it as a requirement for the PC release and decided to work on the PS5 split screen issues, post PC release.
So PS5 will definitely have split screen functionality, and I suppose that might also go to PCs as well, but that's just a guess on my side.
You will get different things out of playing solo vs multilayer. I recommend doing both.
Sorry for the confusion, no. I have an account on Lemmy.world too, which is what I'm using on Sync
I have not played the game personally, but as a big fan of The Expanse show and books, I did follow a lot of the news and gameplay trailers. It seems to capture both the classic Telltale style of story with choices and consequences, and a good job of capturing Drummer's TV character (obviously with Cara Gee reprising her role).
I'm interested in giving this a go once all the episodes are out.
Kbin user trying out Sync. This app feels great so far, but this is one feature I'd love to see added.
POTUS should be a job filled by people with regular careers who serve their term, then return to their careers afterwards, if they don't wish to retire.
A POTUS who is a farmer will have unique insight on how to improve the lives of farmers. Then they go back to being a farmer too. Rinse and repeat for every other job. Doctor, college professor, cybersecurity professional, engineer, astronaut, etc, etc, etc.
Instead we just get career politician after career politician, usually with a background in law, or maybe finance.
There should be term limit reforms that also restrict ex-office holders from continuing careers as lobbyists* and other Capitol Hill creatures. Go back to your old career after holding office, or retire.
