Yes I really do like the medium. I was worried it was going to be too broad but on good quality paper it is not too wide but still very smooth.

It's honestly in a completely different league than the Safari and Al star. I use both of those pens quite often for school and the 2000 is better in basically every way. The nib is so insanely smooth and the craftsmanship is basically perfect. I would highly reccoment it

I've been using my Lamy 2000 the most since it's my newest pen and first "nice" pen

Of course! Just be aware that their keyboards, especially the nk65 entry edition can sell out just minutes after a restock so maybe sign up for the emails about the restocks. The nk87 usually takes longer to sell out and you can also buy the pre assembled nk87 darkshake if you are interested (I bought one of these for $140 during their black Friday sale)

The nk87 and nk65 are both on clearance right now at novelkeys if you are interested in getting your own switches and keycaps. If you are willing to wait for a restock for either of these they do have black/grey options but it may not be exactly what you are looking for. They are both qmk/via compatible so they should work with Linux.

I have lived in a place like that since childhood. It is very lonely. Until I got my driver's license I had ti be driven around by my parents constantly, which caused a lot of conflict between us because driving that much isn't fun for anyone. My house has a walk score of 0 and I just don't think that rural, car dependent living is good for children that must rely on their parents constantly for transportation. I am now going to university in a large city and can't wait to live somewhere I don't need to own a car.

I have found that with the different ap papers for different subjects. The paper used for lit and lamy seems to be of higher quality than what is used for stats or econ

I'll need to watch this one!

Basically no one here has ever advocated for banning delivery vehicles, just private cars.
