I really enjoyed begining of Automata, action, music and artstyle, but the neat thing is ... That opening credits are placed 20+ hours later in the game. And by that time i was really invested in the story and characters.

I also agree that there should be some savepoint in the begining of a game, I died once or twice and it was annoying to replay everything from the start.

For me it is opening credits sequence in Nier Automata, Shadowlord's castle in Nier Replicant and AI reveal in MGS2. All these three games are masterclass in storytelling.

Mojeek isn't perfect, but it's truly independent search engine.

Mojeek is far from perfect, but also is 100% independent.

Male 07 outfit.

Just finished this mod, and it was amazing to get such high quality content for free. I was surprised how massive is this mod, and polished. For free it's a must play if you like Half-Life.

My only nitpicks would be glitchy physics which can send you flying, and that it crashed few times when i played on Linux.

Well it's a great reimagining, but i don't consider it as replacement of first Half-Life. While soundtrack is superb, it also feels more epic than og and changes atmosphere of the game. Also i prefer og gameplay. It's a great game to relive Half-Life from another perspective.

Bastard is truly immortal.

Just a post to encourage you, not to buy anything more than base edition, so Sega won't get more money for locking NG+ behind deluxe edition.

It's quite good experience. I enjoyed remastered graphics, especially in scenes with chiaroscuro, soundtrack is also praise worthy. First tests were really easy, but they get bit harder later, and new gameplay mechanics refresh the gameplay. I found story to be mediocre, there was unused potential with Amelie character. Overall it's not perfect but still fun and it's impressive to get something of this scale for free.

spoilerI think, that if AD9 suceeded, finale could be even better. All those murders would have helped to save lives, and everything would be more morally ambiguous.

Sounds interesting.

I would like to see tv show based on judgment, or some sort of prequel about Tojo clan.
