I run a 20m from my landline Box to my Router. In the hallway I route it behind the furniture. On doors I router it along the frame with transparent Self-adhesive cable older I got of Amazon.

Printer company are one of the biggest legalized scammer we currently have. Out water and some ink they make huge amount of Profit.

They are the Definition of making Gold out of shit.

Sync is back on the Play Store, but it's not a third-party Reddit app anymore in c/syncforlemmy

The main benefit is that this allows using the phone in landscape Mode while maps car Mode for what ever reason still only works in the default orientstion.

This also Shows the current speed which is something maps doesnt do everswhere.

There is also a option that looks like the new android auto ui.

Like I mentioned they take it to the far extrem for sure. But sometimes I have the feeling most Western goverments want to do the same.

With this I mean deciding what you should see and what not.

after getting a newer car I had the issue that my old after market radio with android auto didnt Integrate that nice with my new car (it looked quite out of place sadly) I was forced with the choice of living with it or putting the default Radio back in (ford focus mk3 pre face lift non Sony and non sync).

But now I had the issue of not having android auto. For a while I tried head unit reloaded but never was that happy with it.

After some Research I found an app called autozen.

In my humble opinion it offers all what I wanted from AA. It Shows me the current map and Route (via mapbox so basicly open maps) an yt music (among others) control.

So if you have the same first World Problem as me you should give it a try.
