Whoa, that's impressive that you hand grind for espresso. That takes a bit of muscle even with a pretty dark roast I'd guess. I mostly use it for pourovers, but even on a coarse grind, some of those lighter roasted African beans can have me working up a sweat. :)
Oh and a couple of beans always pop out of the top! I've been meaning to custom-fit some kind of lid..
Yooo, Lido 2 represent! I've had mine for about the same number of years, use it daily, and it's !@#$ing amazing. I remember wincing at the $200 pricetag, but it performs better than the Baratza, outlives the Baratza, and.. well, yeah. Hand grinders for the win. I have more than gotten my money's worth.
noise canceling bluetooth headphones (Sony XM3s, in my case). They are always near me. Thousands of hours and I haven't even changed the earpads yet. I don't know how I lived without them.
whoaaaaa nice! I wish the video showed faces and celebrations (that's the fun of WR vids for me), but still, very cool.
Totally hear you. Very similar for me, and I live in a blue state. All the gigantic pickup trucks...
better fire up the VPN too. You don't want your ISP to know that you're gay-boxer-curious!
classic XD
Hah! I appreciate your honesty.
My mind focused on the word "weed" and got very confused.. had to reread a few times :)
yeees! I ended up getting one and have been loving it. It's been doing double duty as a bedroom/ambient/BladeRunner reverb, and also a more standard "band" pedal when I play with friends (on less ambient patches of course... a more toned down 70s Plate for example). SpecLab is easy enough to get used to, and I've dialed in some stereo analog ping-pong delays that just melt my ears... So good.
Thanks for your vote--nice to hear others liking it! I agree, not a cheap pedal but it should hold its value. Not sure I'll ever sell it though. :)
Very nicely processed!
