I used KISS for a while and found mlauncher, which is similar in concept, to work better for me. I had to force KISS to restart frequently enough where it became a problem.

Rayman Legends, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros off the top of my head. It had plenty of excellent games

I'm aware. Krohnkite got updated to support 6
Even if you want tiling, Krohnkite is available for Plasma 6. It was enough for me to switch away from Sway, since I care less about minimalism.
I hug my guy friends when I haven't seen them in a while (e.g. my friends who live far away). Snuggling is super weird, and I don't know of any guys who have done that. Feels like if I did, my wife would not be very happy. Affectionate fighting seems just over the top. Seems like something limited to children and movies.

So you only play indie games? Because that's basically the only way you avoid "companies doing lousy stuff."
Last of Us was rereleased the same number of times in a shorter period. Not that this excuses the lack of innovation, but it's not the worst example of re-releasing a game.

Maybe if you're going to theaters like AMC. The locally run theaters in my town are great.
